Harmon & Holcomb is absolutely one of my favorite sites for several reasons. It has a great combination of design and features. I started with the idea of having a huge featured image that covered a majority of the page and this evolved into the homepage design. The inner pages focus more on content and readability of the copy while keeping a consistent header and footer. The color scheme is fairly unique and breaks the mold of traditional website layout while still presenting content in a very organized fashion.
The site is built with a WordPress backend and utilizes a HTML5 and CSS along with Jquery for the tooltip popup on the homepage and lightbox plugin for the gallery transition effects.
Note: The incomplete Galleries page is a change made by the client after it was released into their hands.
